This is Alexandra and her family, they came in to do portraits before Alex was to have surgery on Monday. Alexandra has rasmussen syndrome, it is a very rare disease that causes her to have seizures, so before she went in to have surgery we did a fun session with her and her family. I photographed Alex a couple years ago and I have to say she is always a very pleasant young lady and lots of fun to work with, as you can see in the photographs, she knows how to have a good time. She is doing amazing after her surgery and already starting to amaze everyone with talking alittle. What an amazing young lady and family with their strength to get thru such a difficult time.
